CSiDetail is a specialized detailing application from Computers and Structures, Inc. that automatically converts ETABS building models into constructible reinforcement drawings. Using the analysis and design results from ETABS, CSiDetail generates clear plans, elevations, sections, and member details for slabs, beams, columns, walls, and foundations—complete with rebar sizes, spacing, anchorage, lap splices, and notes driven by user-defined rules and design requirements.
The software streamlines documentation by producing bar schedules, quantity takeoffs, and bills of materials, and by assembling drawings into sheets ready for CAD. Detailing preferences are fully customizable, and interactive tools let you review and refine layouts before publishing. Output can be exported to common CAD formats (such as DWG/DXF) for coordination with broader CAD/BIM workflows, helping engineers and detailers move from analysis to shop drawings with speed, consistency, and traceability.
